X-Plane is a log-time flight simulator on the Mac/PC and now is available on the iPad. Following on the iPhone/iPod Touch version, the X-Plane 9 for the iPad takes full advantage of the larger screen for a pretty cool simulator.
@TheSloth9
The grapichs and simulation is very bad respect a PC game, well, X-plane 9 is bad too on PC, if you want a real flight simulator for PC the best is Flight Simulator X with expancion pack: Acceleration!!
@Brandontrex20 Laminar Research is pretty good at keeping all of their updates (no matter what they are) free. I have every X-Plane app for iPhone and the updates are great and free! and they added great planes for free. So I personally think that they will not charge for the new planes when they get released.

July 25th, 2010 at 12:23 pm
@oskArtist Ya that would be cool. But you can use your iPhone as a joystick for your Mac/PC X-Plane game. $5 app from Laminar Research.

July 25th, 2010 at 1:41 pm
@Brandontrex20 I don’t know, but usually all updates are free up to the next version, so should be unless they’re a part of X-Plane 10 app.
July 25th, 2010 at 1:42 pm
Do you think it will cost money to get the new planes when they are released or will they be free
July 25th, 2010 at 2:07 pm
@oskArtist Yeh, That’d be freakin awesome!
July 25th, 2010 at 2:44 pm
@GoldenHeartedTV Yeah, you can. There’s no wheel control, but it seems it’s combined with the ailerons.
July 25th, 2010 at 2:58 pm
